to ask a veteran about the Vietnam War. Since my father had served in the Navy
during the war,
I chose him. After a few basic questions, a very
gingerly student asked…
“Did you
ever kill anyone?”
Dad got
quiet. Then, in a soft voice, he said…
“Probably. I
was the cook.”
Theres more truth to this than many realize but then I have seen real blue eggs and green ham. Never will I eat it Sam I am!
