"Celestial Navigation"

Bridge, Quartermaster... "What is that star in the southern sky?"

Quartermaster, Bridge..."I believe that is the planet Uranus.

… 30 second pause …

Quartermaster, Bridge....."Sir, upon further review of the celestial navigation picture, we've determined that "star" is far too small to be Uranus."

  1. The planet Uranus is not visible from the surface of Earth without a telescope....

  2. Reminds me of that scene from Lethal Weapon 3.
Joe Pesci: "With a telescope big enough to see Venus!"
Gibson: "Well, I guess all they saw was Uranus."

  3. A salty CPO was sitting at the bar when a little blonde bombshell sat next to him. "When was the last time you got laid, sailor?" "2109", replied the CPO.
    "That's horrible!"
    "Not really, it's only 2145."
