I'm not a retired chief, but I did say this at my last job interview, and then had to explain why. THank god it was for a job in a machinery shop, so the manager got a good laugh out of it and immediately scheduled me for a 2nd interview, then told me he was a retired marine. So hey.. there are still some old salts out there who "get it" :)
They may furthermore select from numerous universities that offer training involving study throughout naval jobs structures or perhaps marine architectural.
