Commander Clark FC 'A' School 1987...

  1. Was the perp at the first CO's Mast of a newly promoted CAPT assigned his first command. Following tradition, the CAPT dismissed the charges with a warning that another similar trip to see him would be doubly dealt with, and that he'd keep an eye on me. Never experienced the first, but the second held true until we both retired - we'd run into each other in all corners of the world.

    Oh yeah, the charge: Violation of the UCMJ, Article 86, to wit: In that Petty Officer XXXX did, on or about XX XXX XX, was absent without leave, having displayed his unauthorized absence from the Change of Command ceremony held on board XXXXXXXX.
